The summer camp organized for the prospective students who have been getting prepared for university exams was held for the fourth time this year on Ankara campus. The students with the highest grade point averages were selected among those who applied for the camp. 100 students from 40 high schools in Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Bursa, Antalya, Eskişehir, Muğla, Adana, Mersin and Hatay, the cities sending the highest number of students to METU, were invited to the camp.

In the event, which was held in June and aimed to guide students in their university and undergraduate program choices, academic seminars and laboratory activities were carried out as well as department presentations and visits. In the camp where prospective students stay with the university students in the same dormitory for a week, the students, who participate in various social and cultural and sporting events as well as academic activities in the camp, have the opportunity to be a METU member.
