We are very pleased to meet you again on the second issue of METU insider, Kampüs. We have prepared the second issue feeling much more excited after all the positive comments following the publication of the first one. In this current issue, you can follow science, culture and art news from our three campuses, meet our new faculty members and read the story of the Internet at METU. In addition, you can read about Turan Baskan, on whose behalf we have been presenting an award to our administrative staff every year since 1999, from the records of one of our former presidents Prof.Dr.Ömer Saatçioğlu. You can also read the interview with Prof. Dr. Hakan Altan on the Central Laboratory, and the study of Assoc. Prof. Zeynep Çulfaz Emecan, which was deemed worthy of the UNESCO-L'oreal Award for Women in Science. In Kampüs 101 section, you can get the insights of Faculty of Architecture as narrated by Prof.Dr. Ayşen Savaş, our faculty from the Department of Architecture. In this issue, we host the Underwater Sports Club, Underwater Club and METU CCC Culture, Literature and Thought Society to our METU Insider, Kampüs, and we have the opportunity to get to know them better.
