The AdımODTÜ project, which was initiated to provide support to METU students and young researchers and to find financial resources for improving the internal and external spaces of our campus began with the presentation of theater artist Levent Ülgen, who graduated from physics department in 1985, on METU Alumni Day held on July 1, 2017. Before the introduction of the AdımODTÜ, an acapella group "SesverSus" performed. With AdımODTÜ, a joint project of METU Corporate Communications Office and METU Development Foundation; undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students, student clubs/societies and researchers can create their own projects for science, culture and sports activities with the support of the AdımODTÜ team and they can share them with METU members and METU friends who live in more than 140 countries around the world. In addition to receiving financial support for projects, project owners can advertise their work and even ask the interested parties to make a physical contribution to their project. After the project is completed, a detailed report is sent to the sponsors and the relevant people who are interested in the project.
