Supported by METU BAP and designed in cooperation with Center for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics Education (BILTEMM) and Center for Wind Energy (RÜZGEM) of METU, an engineering design workshop Design | Make | Learn for science teachers was held on March 4-5, 2017. During the workshop that focused on mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering and aerodynamic engineering, activities about energy, energy conversions and wind energy were organized.

30 science teachers and public schools in Adana, Adıyaman, Amasya, Ankara, Burdur, Bursa, Çankırı, Çorum, Eskişehir, Istanbul, Izmir, Kastamonu, Konya, Manisa, Muğla, Muş, Sanliurfa, Uşak and Van participated in the workshops.

Design | Make | Learn: The Engineering Design Workshop for Science Teachers intends to contribute to the harmonization of our country to this process in line with the importance given to education of science, technology, engineering and mathematics all over the world. During the workshop, which focused on mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering and aerodynamic engineering, activities on energy, energy conversions and wind energy are organized.
